Internet Information Services 8.0 (IIS 8.0) is part of Windows Server 8. Here are the steps to install IIS 8.0 on Windows Server 8:

1. Open Server Manager. (Click on Windows Start button to launch the metro start screen. Then click on 'Server Manager')

3. In the next screen, choose the option "Role-based or Feature-based installation". This will allow you to add features or roles selectively to your Windows Server 8.

4. Click "Next" until you reach the "Server roles" tab. In the list of available server roles, check "Web Server (IIS)" and click next. (If you select additional options, it may fail to install on the current developer preview build)

5. Press "Next" and keep the default selections in the remaining screens and press "Commit" button. It will start installing IIS on Windows Server 8. It may take few minutes depending on your server speed and other factors. At the end of the installation, you will see the message 'Webserver installed successfully.'.

When IIS is installed, it will add a shortcut to your Windows Server 8 metro start screen. You can launch the IIS Manager by clicking on the icon. The IIS 8 Manager look very similar to the familiar IIS 7.
