How to do General troubleshooting for problems with current hardware devices of your computer with Windows 7 Operating System?

First, you have to open the Action Center in Windows 7 Operating System and you have to check whether Windows 7 Operating System has recorded any problem and whether Microsoft has come up with any solution to that particular problem.

You can also use the Reliability Monitor of Windows 7 Operating System for determining the longevity of the problem and what are all the related symptoms of the problem. Then you can use Event Viewer of Windows 7 Operating System to find out any related events with that problem which may provide some useful information to diagnose the said problem.

You have to ensure that all the updates released in Windows 7 Updates by Microsoft have been downloaded and applied in your Windows 7 Operating System.

Finally, you may just roll back any recent update of drivers in your Windows 7 Operating System, even though they may be meant for some other devices. Some of the drivers may cause incompatibility problems / issues among different devices of your Windows 7 Operating System.

Alternatively, you may download and install some of the updated software / drivers in Windows 7 Operating System which are meant for your hardware. Even then, if it did not work, you may please install the said software / driver in Compatibility Mode of Windows 7 Operating System.

You may also consider removing and reinstalling all of the newly installed hardware in your Windows 7 Operating System.

Then, try to install the updated drivers meant for all other hardware components, which may include BIOS / firmware updates for your hardware accessories and for the computer in which you are using Windows 7 Operating System.

You can troubleshoot your computer's disk problems by using Chkdsk facility of your Windows 7 Operating System for identifying and possibly to fix disk-related problems prevalent in your Computer. Such disk problems may make the drivers of your computer corrupted, which in turn may cause hardware to stop from functioning.

Also, possibly, try to move all the hardware to other different connectors on your computer hosting Windows 7 Operating System.

Try and change some of the cables, which are used to connect your new hardware to your computer, which is having Windows 7 Operating System.

You may also try to plug the so-called problematic hardware to a different computer other than yours. If the same hardware fails on multiple or more than one computers, you may be having a problem viz., hardware malfunction. Therefore, it is recommended to immediately contact the respective hardware manufacturer for suitable technical support for your computer with Windows 7 Operating System.

It is always better to contact the respective hardware manufacturer for appropriate support for your computer with Windows 7 Operating System. Whenever you have a hardware or software related failure, only the respective hardware manufacturer can assist or help you on additional troubleshooting of your Computer having Windows 7 Operating System.
