Windows machine doesn't have an option to create password for guest account. Here is a trick to create password for guest account in Windows and make your Windows operating system more secure.

Guest account in Windows

We all know that guest account in a Windows machine doesn't have any option to give a password. The guest account in Windows is actually made for use by someone who doesn't have a user account in that machine. So when the guest account is turned on any one can access the machine through that account. But the guest account has some limitations. One cannot install a software or hardware using the guest account and he cannot change the guest account type to administrator or limited account.

With these limitations also, turning on guest account is little bit dangerous because it helps to bypass the windows log on screen. So if we have given access to a wrong person (hacker) it will be harmful for you. So here is a tip for creating password for guest account.

Steps to create password for guest account

1) First turn ON the guest account:

Control Panel -> User accounts -> Guest account -> Turn On

GO TO : Start -> Run -> Type 'cmd' ->Enter

3) Type the command:'net user guest password' in the command prompt.
