What is new in Epic browser 1.1

Epic browser released its new version 1.1 now within one month after its first release. It includes some major changes in its new version. It is updated according the Mozilla next version updates.

Epic browser 1.1 download size is 12.2 MB and it will take around 10 – 15 minutes for a normal internet connection. Once the update is complete you need to restart the Epic browser in order to update the browser with the Mozilla 3.6.7 version and it will take few seconds to update its new version and it open the browser with in a minute.

In order to download the new version from your Epic browser then click the Help menu and then click Check for Updates… menu item will open a pop up Window and click the Get the New Version button to download the latest version of the Epic browser.

Epic browser is now updated with the Mozilla 3.6.7. It is the previous version of Mozilla browser. Firefox is now available in 3.6.8. Mozilla Firefox 3.6.7 version fixed many of the bug fixes, security issues and Performance enhancements.

Epic browser new version is now loaded even faster than its previous version. It is one of the major issues in the previous version of Epic browser.

Epic browser has improved its antivirus scanner in order to scan the virus in a more stable manner than its previous version. Some of the security issues are also addressed in Epic 1.1.

A game sidebar is not working properly in the previous version is now fixed and it is working fine in Epic 1.1 version.

Epic 1.1 includes Home button that you can add if from the View menu of the epic browser. Using the Home Button you can add the home button to the Epic browser and you can add the home page for the Epic browser using the Home button (Check the below screenshot).

Bookmarks Bar bug is fixed as the bar is hidden when you closing epic browser even though the settings are done in the Epic Browser 1.0. The Bookmark bar test color will not change according to the dark background color is also fixed in this release, now it will automatically change the background color when the dark themes are shown.

In previous version of the Epic cricket scores are updated with sify live scores, now Cricinfo is added to Epic 1.1 will show the live scores and commentary.

Epic 1.1 stores the previously used recent 10 skins and can be applied again easily. Even when you offline the skins will be shown in your browser as it is stored in the epic browser 1.1.

Epic browser side bar popup are fixed. Now the side bar will not be shown when a pop up window is opened. It is one of the irritating bugs that are fixed in this release.

Many of the users may be noticed that some time the Epic browser 1.0 Address bar will get flickered. This is fixed in the new release of Epic 1.1

Epic browse will get crashed due to more number of tabs and various other reasons are fixed in Epic 1.1. No more protection is added to the browser in order to handle the browser crash.

Now you can post blogs in Wordpress without any issues. The issues with the Wordpress blogs is now rectified and you can freely post the blogs in Wordpress using the built in language tool without any problems even by using the Indic language tool.

Download the latest version of Flash Player in order to get the maximum stability. McAfee Security Scan plus is the default security scanner and if you don't require it then disable the scanner. By default the Antivirus is not installed in to the system, you need to download the Antivirus and Antispyware which is given by ESET.
