This article explains Windows Live Movie Maker which is available only in Windows Vista and 7 with features like HD and direct upload to YouTube and some of the features are removed which are available in Movie maker previous version

Windows Live Movie Maker in Windows 7

Windows Movie maker is removed from Windows 7. Windows 7 includes Windows Live Movie Maker which is available only for Windows Vista and Window 7. Windows Movie Maker which is supported in Windows XP and previous version is not available in Windows Vista and 7. Windows Live movie maker supports to make a movie from Photos, Video and audio.

Windows Live Movie maker supports to publish movie to YouTube and you can also burn the movies to DVD using Windows DVD maker which is include only in Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows Professional, Windows 7 Enterprise, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 7 Vista Home Premium and Windows Vista Ultimate editions.

Windows Live Movie Maker includes features to create a slideshow with transition effect for the photos and videos with music in order to make them easier to view and organize and share with others in a customized format. You can add title, Transitions effects to the movies. It is one of the easiest ways to make photos in to a movie with music that you want to make as a Video.

In order to create a simple movie using pictures. Select the pictures that you want to make the movie and drag and drop them in to the Storyboard pane of Movie Maker and Choose the Add Music from Home ribbon from the Movie Maker

Once the Photo's and music are selected you are now ready to create a movie. Click AutoMovie and wait for some time and it will create a movie file with title, soundtrack from your photo's and music. Now it is ready to publish in video hosting sites like YouTube and other sites that support video hosting. You can create HD (High Definition) videos from Movie Maker by just selecting the Movie Maker Menu and click the High Definition (1080p) format.

To publish the created video to YouTube or burn it in DVD just click the YouTube link on the top of the movie maker home ribbon will open a Window and you can login to the YouTube and you can upload the Movie to YouTube. (Check the below screenshot).

Windows Live Movie Maker it revamped completely from Movie Maker, but some of the features are removed from the Live Movie Maker like the TimeLine which is available in Movie Maker and Live Movie maker is only able to satisfy the basic video creating.
