Interesting features of Microsoft Office 2010

1) Web Videos can be directly embedded into the PowerPoint presentations : As we insert videos into our blogs we can now include videos into our PowerPoint presentations too. This cool feature comes with MS Office 2010. We just need to navigate to the Insert Video option in the Insert tab and paste the embed code that is provided in the websites like you tube. You can also modify the size of the video as appropriate to your presentation.

2) PDF files can be created directly from MS Word : PDF files can be directly created in MS Word 2010 using the Create PDF/XPS Document facility in the Share tab of file Option as shown in the image below. The existing word documents can also be converted to PDF format using this functionality.

3) Online storage and access of documents created : The feature that is attracting many users to try out MS Office 2010 is the facility of online storage of the documents using cloud computing technology. Using this we can save our documents on the cloud server and access them from anywhere and any system which do not have MS office installed.

4) Facility of capturing screen-shot directly from the document : All the components of MS Office 2010 comes with the feature of Screen Shot using which we can capture and insert the screen shot of any open windows or the desktop directly from the document. This option is present under the Insert tab as shown in the image below for Word and power point components.

5) Create a video of our power point presentation : We can convert our power point presentation slides into a video and share it online on video sharing sites like You tube and others. All the videos are created are of .wmv format. The presentation is converted to video preserving all the features involved in it. The videos can be created in three formats, each suiting a different purpose.
