First tip-How to disable security center popup notifications in Windows vista.



Here is how to disable security center popup notifications in Windows vista.

1.Right click the red shield icon present in the bottom of your computer screen at right side.

2.Then select Open Security Center from the menu that appears.

3.Now Click the link for "Change the way Security Center alerts me".

4.A dialog box will appear three options.

5.Select the last option disable notifications.

This will disable the security center popup notifications in Windows vista.

Second tip - How to disable auto start applications in Windows Vista


Here is how to disable auto start applications in Windows Vista.

Using the System Configuration Utility

1.Go to Start , type msconfig and press Enter.

2.Now click on the Startup tab.

3.This will show the start up programs .Simply Uncheck the boxes programs you want to disable in startup.

Using Windows Defender

1. Go to Start, type Windows Defender and press Enter.

2. Now go to tools from top.

3. Then Click on Software Explorer and select Show for All Users.

4. Choose a program here to disable.

Third Tip - How to use your pen drive as RAM in Windows vista


Using the ready boost feature in Windows vista you can use a pen drive as Ram of your computer.

Benefits of using pen drive as RAM in Windows vista
This will make your computer to work faster .
Moreover it will prove to be economical in comparison to external memory.

Here is how to use your pen drive as RAM in Windows vista

1.Go to My Computer.

2.Now Right Click on Removable Disk Drive and choose Properties.

3.Thereafter Click on ReadyBoost .

4.Then enable readyboost . Here you will have to mention the pendrive space that you want to use as memory.
