Adding Recycle Bin in Start Menu in Windows 7

Did you any time searched for "recycle bin" by typing it in Start menu search box? You might have tried to search for it but you would not have found anything. I will explain how to find the Recycle Bin in the Windows 7 Start Menu search box.

In earlier versions of Windows it was really a difficult task to search for a parfticular program. But now it is possible to search for files, folders and more through the Start menu of your Windows 7 computer. But you can not find the Recycle Bin in the Start menu search box. You can now itself try to find whether you get the Recycle bin if you type it in search box. Definitely you will not get it. But there is a way to do it.

The only way to access Recycle Bin from Start menu search box in Windows 7 is to add a short cut to the Start menu. Windows 7 operating system has a personal start menu folder and also an all users start menu folder. This all users start menu folder can be seen by all the users.

  • Open the explorer by simply clicking on the 'Computer' in the Start Menu of your Windows 7 computer.

  • Now enter the following in the address bar. please substitute your username for your_user_name and hit Enter button.
