How to keep computer data safe?

You might be obsessed with online threats. Here I give to ideas to defense your computer threats.

Follow the steps...easy and simple:-

step-1 :-

update your operating software (OS)

osWhether you use the windows or Mac operating system, you must update it regularly to improve your computers defense mechanism. How will you do that?
Okay I tell you. On your PC go to 'windows Update' under the 'start' icon and click to install all security related updates. This was in windows. Now it's for Mac... Go to 'Software Update' in your system preferences like OS X or under control panelsthat is OS 9. You must set the features to update automatically each week.

step-2 :-

Install a firewall

step-3 :-

Install antivirus software

antivirusAntivirus is must. You need the most up to date antivirus programs not to infect your hard drive and your emails. There are many antivirus types of software available in the market. Go for the branded one and don't download through net. Always buy from market (shop). Run the software weekly.

step-4:-

Remove spyware

spywareSpyware enters your computer when you are online and reports your activities to companies that then try to sell your products. To remove spyware download an anti-spyware program and run the program daily.

step-5:-

change web browser

webI said you to change web browser because viruses that enters your computer through internet explorer can do serious damage. So, use Firefox which is free to download or you can go for others who don't have much virus attack.

In this way you can shield your home computer from online threats in easier way you have ever thought of.
