The speed and the power make supercomputers ideal for handling large and high complex problems.

What are the Supercomputers

The Supercomputers are generelly largest in size. These systems are built in such way that they can process huge data and they can perform one trillion calculations per second. Normally this kind of computers are used by big corporates who have larges volume of works.

What this machine can do

Now a days Supercomputers are used for different applications. The Scientists across the world are using it for Studying Human genoeme and DNA structures.There are about one lakh human genes with three lakhs chemical bases. If a print out has to be taken it runs into two lakh pages.

How much it costs

Supercomputers can cost tens of millions of dollars and consume huge electricity that can be used to light scores of homes across our city. These computers need a highly cooling place.
