In this resource I will explain how to
lock start menu in Windows 7
1.Go to start .
2.Type
regedit
in the search box and hit Enter.
3.Thereafter Pull the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Microsoft, Windows, CurrentVersion, Policies.
4.Click menu Edit and then Key.
5.Give a new name to the explorer
6.Then click
DWORD Value 32-bit
.
7.Give new name to
NoChangeStartMenu
.
8.Enter a value in the value data and click ok.
You are done , on restatrting your computer you will be able to add, remove or move icons in the Start menu.
