How to block a website from Internet explorer 7
Even though Internet has been one of the great boon for the society and children studies, Internet has been a curse for some children who are aware of the unwanted websites. Here we are going to see how to block such unwanted websites using the
Internet exporer 7
.
Step 1
to be followed to block a website from Internet explorer 7
Click Start menu, then click tools. In the tools option, you can find the Internet options, click the Internet option and now click the Content from the Internet options. Now the Content advisor box of Internet explorer 7 will be opened and now, type "Enable" in the content advisor box of the Internet explorer 7.
Step 2
to be followed to block a website from Internet explorer 7
In the content advisor box of the Internet explorer 7 you can see the 4 options called "Ratings, approved sites, General and adanced". You have to click "approved sites" among them. You can see a box in the opening window asking for the approved sites. Type the website you want to block in that box.If you want to block a website completely, then you have to type the character * after typing the website address in the Approved sites box of the Internet explorer 7 settings. After typing the website name with the character *, you have to click Never and Ok.

Now,click the option "General" from the Content advisor box and tick the options given there for allowing the user to see the website have no ratings. Now you will be asked to give password and give it simple.
Step 4

Now click Ok and start surfing the

without the scare of unwanted websites affecting your children studies.
