How to enable Firewall in private network or public network

In this resource I will discuss how to enable Firewall in private network or public network .

Here is how to enable Firewall in private network or public network

1.Go to control panel from start menu.

2.Select the System and Security link.

3.Open the Windows Firewall

4.You can see there Home or Work(private) Networks and Public Networks below it.

5.Select Turn on Windows Firewall then select the Notify me when Windows Firewall blocks a new program and then click OK. This will enable Firewall for private network.

6.Now go to Public Network Location Settings and choose the Turn on the Windows Firewall and then Notify me when Windows Firewall blocks a new program and then click OK.

This will enable Firewall for public network.
