Before the arrival of the first devices in Windows 7, Acer continues to use version 6.5 of Microsoft operating system. The Windows Mobile platform is newTouch P400 with a host of good quality but is exceeded in many areas.

Writing e-mails or text messages in portrait mode is very tedious. The keyboard keys are too tight and errors are not uncommon. Fortunately the writing system with predictive word proposal is effective.

For added convenience, you can switch the device in landscape mode. The switch is sometimes a bit long (3-5 seconds). The writing is more comfortable, even if some data entry errors persist. One button gives access to a dedicated keyboard accents. If they are very numerous, we would have preferred them to be accessible via a long press on the letter associated. Note that a spell checker is integrated.
