How to create a system repair disc in Windows 7
Windows 7 operating system is a stable OS compared to previous versions of operating systems. But we cannot say when a problem arises with Windows 7 OS in our computer. Suppose a serious error occurs with your Windows 7 OS and want to repair it, you need a windows installation disc. Let us see how to create a system repair disc in Windows 7 which is required in case you want to boot from it to recover your Windows 7 OS.
Open control panel by Start->Control Panel.
Click on 'System and Security' link as shown in the screen shot below.
Now click on 'Create a system repair disc' link as shown below and then follow the steps. The dialog box opens where you select the right drive and click 'Create disc'. It takes around 140 MB of disc space, so a CD is enough.
If you are asked for an administrative password, type the password and proceed.
Now let us see how to use the system repair disc that we have created if you are having problems with your Windows 7 computer.
1. Insert the system repair disc that we created into your CD or DVD drive.
2. Now you have to restart your Windows 7 computer.
3. If prompted, press any key to start the computer from the system repair disc.
4. Once it boots up, you can access the recovery tools. You can choose from different recovery options to help you to make your system running.
It should be a part of your back up and recovery options to have a system re3covery disc when ever an operating system fails to work.
