Why I cannot connect to other computer in my home network

This is a common network connection problem in Windows 7. If you cannot connect to other computers in your home network, the problem may be due to network discovery might be turned off. Let us see how to solve this problem. You need to turn on network discovery.

Open Network and Sharing Center by clicking on Start -> Control Panel ->Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center

If you find that network discovery is off, then click on the arrow button to expand the section, and click on 'Turn on network discovery' and then click on 'Apply'. If asked for an administrative password, please provide the password and complete.

Now the problem should be solved and your windows 7 computer will be able to connect to other computers in your home network.
