This article explains how to enbale or disable the windows service in Windows 7 to improve the system performance
How to Control Services in Windows 7
Windows 7 startup services will slowdown the system by starting the unnecessary services. To enable or disable service in Windows 7 can be done by using
Windows 7 Service Manager
.
Windows startup will automatically start many of the services which is required to run Windows 7 system. Every operating system will have its own services and it will start automatically when the system boots. Some of the Services are mandatory for the Windows 7 startup. So while disabling the services you need to be careful. By disabling the services will improve the performance of the system because it might take some time to load and it occupies some memory that will slow down the system performance.
Windows 7 Service Manager
Windows 7 services can be controlled by using Windows 7 service manager. To open the service manger click the Windows startup button and open the Run prompt or to open the Run prompt click
Windows Key + R
to open the Run prompt and type services.msc and then hit enter to open Windows Service manager. It will show a list of all (Automatic, Manual, Disabled) the service which are in the system. Click on any service and then right click the mouse button and then select
properties
and in the General tab click select the startup type to Automatic to load the service automatically, disable will not start the service when the system boots. Disable it for the service that you don't need it. Some of the services like Google talk, Skype, Yahoo messenger, Nero and other know service is not required in Windows 7 startup. You can disable this kind of know service will improve the unnecessary headache in your Windows 7 machine.
Once you disabled or enabled the service restart the system to see the performance improvement. Remember that the performance will be improved based on the type of service you disabled. If the system doesn't boot then restart the system and login to system in safe mode and reset the settings and boot the system will run normally.

Process hacker is a tool for Windows 7 allows you to keep track of all the services and processes running in your System.
Using process hacker you can check the connections of your system. Which service is connected to what web site link and many more features are available to find the real service which is running in your Windows 7 system.
