As we all know YouTube consists of thousands of videos and some amongst them aptly suit to our blog that we are writing. In such situations we keep thinking that if this video would have been in my blog, I would have attracted more users to read it. This is absolutely possible. Just few simple steps to follow and there the video is embedded into your personal blog, free of cost and with minimal efforts.

Steps to copy the Embed code

Below are the steps to follow to get the code to embed in your blog

1) Go to www.youtube.com

2) Here you will find embed button as shown in the image below

3) Click on the Embed button that you will find when you open the video for watching it.

4) Now you can choose your settings on how should your video be seen.

5) As soon as you click on the embed button you will be presented with options as shown below

6) The option Related Videos will show the related videos in little boxes if you check this option.

7) Show Border option when checked will create a border along your video that will separate the video from the other content around it.

8) The Enable Privacy Enhanced mode when checked will decide whether or not to set the browser cookies as the page loads.

9) You also have the options for selecting the color and the size.

10) The embed code that shows up when you click the embed button is automatically updated as you select the options.

11) The final step is to copy the embed code that is in the box.

Steps to include the code in Blog
Now lets see the steps to follow to include the code in our blog.

1) Paste the copied embed link in a note pad.

2) Confirm that your blog has permissions to include the embedded code and also if it supports HTML or not.

3) Click on the Edit HTML tab in you Blog and then paste the code there. The code that you have pasted just looks like some normal text that has been pasted.

4) If you have the preview option click on it and you can see that your video has been embedded successfully.

5) If video is not being displayed, check if you pasted the correct code.

6) in case you have pasted the correct code and still find it difficult to view the video then there might be no permissions to embed videos in your blog.

Do not worry in this case. YouTube still provides you an option to share your video in such circumstances.

Share YouTube Video

Just follow the below steps and you can share the youtube videos anywhere and everywhere.

1) Go to www.youtube.com

2) Here you will find share button as shown in the image below

3) Now you will have the URL of the YouTube video that you want to share.

4) Copy the URL

5) Paste it where ever you want to share it.

As simple as it sounds.
