Repair feature in windows 7

Windows 7 comes with the automatic repair feature which is very helpful in automatic recovery from any error that has occurred. There are many reasons on which the windows 7 may crash suddenly. There are possibilities if an external device is inserted or any pen drive is inserted there may be possibility for the crash in the operating system. In these cases the operating system automatically restarts or the operating system hangs up. In these cases an automatic repair option is provided in the windows 7 as soon as the restart is made.

When the operating system faces any serious errors then this repair feature is activated. This repair can be done in 3 ways.

• In the first method the system is automatically restarted and an option is asked for the system repair. In this option a request is made for the system restore. If we don't need system restore then it automatically repairs the errors and the operating system is loaded normally.

• In the second method the repair option is activated and the request is made for the windows 7 boot up disk. This repair option occurs if there are any critical errors. If any of the windows components are in problem then this particular option is chosen by the operating system.

• In the third method the repair is done with the help of the online support. If some of the key components or missing or if there is any crash in the operating system the system goes for the online support and contents are provided from the online. Then the repair option is activated and it is made.

These are various methods in which the repair of the operating system is done. In the previous versions this feature was not present. If there is any crash and if there is any file missing in the operating system then there will be a need for the whole operating system to be installed again but this feature is likely more useful in the windows 7. The repair option was not reliable in the previous version of windows.

Another key point about this feature is that the repair action does not perform any change to the personal files and the windows 7 components. The settings are also restored as it is. Even though if the problem is very critical then also there repair option is more and more effective.
