Now a days computers are advanced than the old computer.many years ago we had the computer monitors of only one colored on a black screen.these monitors is called as Monochromatic Monitors.

Follow the steps

* Goto start menu and click on search button.
* In the search box type "cmd" and click search.
* after that the commond prompt window will open.
* Right click on the title bar and click on properties

* In the Properties window, click on the colors tab
* click on the screen text button
* On the right hand side, under selected color values, change Green to 255.
* after changing click ok

* Due to the effect of this change the command prompt box is turned to b>green like above.
* Now you are using a monochrome command prompt boxc
