What to do when a device is not installed properly in windows

This resource gives you the information about what to do when device like pendrive,printer, flash driver,etc.
If you connect any new external device to your computer
windows
will automatically install and configure it and show the notification as "ready to use" in the right side of the task bar.
If you did not get notification means there is something problem in the connection and the device is
not installed properly
.
Follow the steps
1.Check the connection wire : we know we use connecting wire to connect the device to computer. there is a chance for the connecting wire to damage. Have a look at connecting wire and check whether it is broken or damaged. If it damaged or broken change the wire.
2.Check the connection : If the connecting wire not damaged, but the device is
not installed
. In this case check the connection in computer post and the device port and give the connection properly.
3.Check the drivers : May the required device want the driver of new version. Change the driver or Update the drive using
Windows updater
.
4.Install the software : may be the
device
required any software, check it in the guide manual which is given along with device. If yes install the software.
5.Check the compilability : check the device compilability, whether the device support for you
windows
.
