Trident is IE engine.It is one of the most reliable engines in the world.But the downside is the speed.It is very slow. Gecko is FF engine. It is fast and reliable and most compatible with almost all the websites.Webkit is the chrome/safari engine. It currently has some issues with universal compatibility. Now the main advantage is we see the things like gmail is best vieved in chrome and many flash websites in Internet explorer etc but this browser has it all.We can view any website in an optimal way without a need to open another browser.
