In this resource I will discuss how to check for new mail periodically in Mozilla Thunderbird or Mozilla.

It is very easy to set periodic check for new mail Mozilla Thunderbird or Mozilla

To check an email account in Mozilla Thunderbird or Mozilla for new mail periodically and automatically do the following
1.Firstly Select Tools and then Account Settings from the menu. In Netscape or Mozilla, select Edit and the Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.
2.Now move to the Server Settings sub-category of the desired account.
3.Select Check for new messages every __.To check mail in Mozilla Thunderbird immediately after launch select Check for new messages at startup
4.Enter after how much time you want mail to be checked.
5.Finally Click OK.
