Windows 7 Useful Keyboard Shortcuts


Windows 7 added more useful keyboard short cuts to minimize your work using keyboard than few mouse clicks.

Keyboard short cuts makes easier to work with any software and it will be faster compared to mouse clicks. It is good for your wrist to use the shortcuts.

Here are the Windows 7 Keyboard new keyboard shortcuts lists:


Shortcut KeyUsage of the Shortcut Key in Windows 7
Alt + PIt will display or Hide the Windows Explorer Preview pane
Windows Key + GTo bring the Gadgets in front of all the other Windows
Windows Key + +To Zoom in to the portion of the Window
Windows Key + -To Zoom out to the portion of the Window
Windows Key + up arrowTo maximize the current window
Windows Key + up arrowTo minimize the current window
Windows Key + right arrowTo move the current windows to right side of your desktop
Windows Key + left arrowTo move the current windows to left side of your desktop
Windows key + T + TIt will show a preview of the minimized applications in the task bar
Windows Key + XIt will open the Windows Mobility center window
Windows Key + B and hit enter keyWindows key + B move the focus to Show Hidden icons in task bar and it you hit enter it will show the hidden icons in the taskbar
Windows key + PTo open a window with Projector connection, to extend the monitor if you have multiple screens
Windows key + HomeIt will minimize all the opened window except the current window
Windows Key + SpaceIt will show the desktop where all the opened screen will be transparent
Windows key + shift + right arrowIt will move the current screen to right side of the windows if you have more than one monitor then it will be useful to move the current window
Windows key + shift + left arrowIt will move the current screen to left side of the windows if you have more than one monitor then it will be useful to move the current window
Shift key + click a taskbar itemIt will open a new instance of the selected application
