You may accidently deleted some important files or lost some files in the hard drive. If you Delete the files by the method of SHIFT +Delete means, that file will be permanently deleted and will not be stored in the Recycle bin. But you need the deleted file, what would you do?

In this Tutorial i use the 'Recuva' to recover the lost files.

Follow these Steps:

Step 1:

First you need to download this Software .And install that software.
Download Recuva.

Step 2:

Run the 'Recuva' application.
First you should select The Format of your lost file in the 'File type Wizard'. For example you deleted the image means; select the Picture. Then click 'Next 'Button.

Step 3:

In this step, you should select the location (folder or disk) of your lost file
For example Your lost file in the My documents folder means; Select the My documents folder.
You can also select the 'Specific location' using specific location option. But you forgot the specific folder means; you can select the 'I'm not sure 'option.
Then click 'Next'.

Step 4:

In the Window 'Recuva is now ready for searching' message is displayed.
Enable Deep Scan Check box is also displayed. You can enable the deep scan for complete deep scan your hard drive. It's the time taking process.
You need not enable the Deep scan option. If you are not enabling the deep scan, the Scan will be faster.

Step 5:

The scanning progress windows displayed (See the Picture).The result will be displayed.

Step 6:

In the result, the file quality also displayed. Next, select your deleted file and click the 'Recover' button.

Step 7:

Select location for Recovery

Next 'Select location for Recovery' dialog box displayed. Here you can select any folder except the "Your deleted folder" .because recovery is performed in that specific folder. So you should not choose that folder.

Tip:

But the file recovery also possible that you would not make any changes in that specific folder you deleted the file (That is you deleted the file in the desktop means, you should not create or store the files or folders in that desktop).
If you don't make any changes means, you can recover the deleted file easily.
