I will explain to you what is the role of BIOS in the computer system? It checks the each hardware and the peripheral device whether they are working properly or not, if working properly then doesn't show any message in case any problem is there then it will show you big display message on the screen , as if you have noticed that sometimes when you start your computer error message or something else will by displayed to you. For example- when you start your computer then the error message like virtual memory too low is displayed on the screen then there is program running on your computer that will consume all of your catch or the secondary memory that will act as a virtual memory.
