How to install a blue tooth enabled device in windows 7
Bluetooth is an open wireless technology standard for exchanging data over short distances. Here are the few steps to install a blue tooth enabled device in your windows 7 computer.
If you have blue tooth built in, in your computer it is OK. If you do not have a built in blue tooth in your windows 7 computer, then you need to plug in a USB Bluetooth dongle into the USB port of your windows 7 computer. Once you plugged in the USB dongle, it will be detected automatically by windows 7 and the correct driver will be installed for it.
Once the driver is installed for the blue tooth dongle, you need to type 'blue tooth' in the start menu.
Now you click on 'Add a Bluetooth device while your blue tooth device is on
Windows 7 automatically searches for the blue tooth enabled device and will be listed in the list of devices
Now you can go to Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers -> Bluetooth devices.
You will be able to see your devices listed there.
