Click the
"Map network drive"
It will open a window
"Map Network Drive"
. Here you need to specify a Drive name; you cannot use C drive and other drives that are already mapped in your computer. In "Drive:" you will see a list of drives that you can assign to a shared network drive or folder. Click the finish button to map the drive in your computer. Check the below image
Now the mapped Drive is now connected to the network drive or shared folder.
If you computer is not allow you to connect to the network drive or shared folder. The reason may be you do not have permission to access the folder or Computer might switch off.
You have one more option to create shortcuts for the shared location or FTP sites or web sites

Step 3
Click the
"Choose a custom network location"
to type the network location or click "Next" button to type the Network location
Step 4
In this window you can specify the location of the shared folder or web share or FTP folder either by clicking the browse button to select the network location or type the location directly in "Internet or network address:" and click the "Next" button to continue
Step 5
Now you can give or type the name for the network location to identify uniquely and then click the next button to finish the creating the shortcut for the Network location
Step 6
This is the final step and here you don't need to do anything. Here it will show the name of the network location and click "Finish" button to see the created network location shortcut in "Network Location" in your computer. Now you can open the specified network location from your computer without remembering the complete path of the location.
