Power options in Windows 7

Windows 7 includes two options for energy saving when the computer is not used: Energy Saver, "and sleep. This article explains the differences between these two options with advantages and disadvantages.
Energy Saver Mode
The
"Energy Saver Mode
, is a development of
"standby"
in Windows XP. It has existed since Windows Vista, but Windows 7 in an optimized version generally found in. In this mode, computer is the current state of the
"frozen"
. All non-essential consumers, such as hard disk, video card, fans, etc. are turned off. This reduces the power consumption to a minimum. Only the memory is still supplied with electricity to get the data. If you work of continuing the, the other hardware components are activated. The displacement in the
"energy saving"
mode, and the continued need only a few seconds.
Advantages in Energy Saver Mode:
1)Current status of all open programs will remain.
2)Very fast change in the "Energy Saver Mode.
3)Very fast resume from the "energy saving" mode.
Disadvantages in Energy Saver Mode:
1)Loss of the current status at separation from the stream.
2)It will continue to consume electricity to keep the data in memory.
Sleep Mode
The Sleep Windows 7 will make it in, stop the current work status and resume later. The calculator can be completely separated from the power grid after the rest has been changed in. When changing to the idle state hiberfil.sys all data of memory to disk in the file "written". This file is the current status of the computer with all open applications and saved. If you start the computer, the last session, all data from the disk back into memory to load, and you can just continue working on the site, where you left off.
Advantages in Sleep Mode:
1)Current status of all open programs will remain.
2)Separation of power possible.
Disadvantages in Sleep Mode:
1)Slow save as "energy" as a large amount of data is written to disk.
2)It will save memory space for hibernation file.
3)Complete shutdown and restart is sometimes faster
4)To save disk space, the rest are disabled.
