Windows 7 Optimization :

Hardware Experiance Index:

To measure the hardware capablities Hardware Experiance Index is used, it covers RAM,Processor,Grapics, and Hard Disk.

The Greater Hardware Experiance Index means best System Performence.

You can get the Hardware Experiance Index Seperatly for Processor,Memory grapics and other Hardware related Hardware Experiance Index.

If you can't able to access the Hardware Experiance Index, just do the below,

C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Control Panel\Performance Control Panel
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Control Panel\Performance Control Panel

Delete the PerfcplEnabled Registry key if it's availabile there.

Changing the User Interface Language:

Control Panel > Region and Language > Keyboard and Languages > Choose a display language, normal windows 7 are supporte with only one language, where as Windows 7 Ultimate will support more than a Language.

Windows 7 Optimization through Advanced system settings:

Accesse the advanced system setting's like below,

Control Panel > System > Advanced system settings

From here you can do the below explained steps,

System Protection:

By Restoring the Complete Wndows 7:

You can restore the Complete System by

Start > System Restore > System Restore

You can use the System Restore with Windows Backup Also.

Files Restore in Windows 7:

The advanced files Restoration can be done in windows by shadow copy,

Windows Explorer > Select the particualr file
Right click the selected file
Prperties>Previous Versions

Remote Function:

you can get Remot Assitacne in windows 7, if your system is connected to internet, and your system information is shared with your known person you can use it,

Here is how you have to activate Remote Desktop Connection

Start > All Programs > Accessories > Remote Desktop Connection

To quickly open Remote Desktop Connection,Start>Search box>mstsc

clearing the Paging File:

Windows 7 can Autmatically clear the Paging file when ever it Shuts down, to do so follow the below steps,

open the registry editor, then look for

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Managemen,

Edit the Value ClearPageFileAtShutdown to 1.
