Disable the floppy drive in Windows XP

Even if you do not have a floppy drive in your computer, Windows XP loads the drivers for floppy drive controller. Follow the steps below to disable the floppy drive in windows XP

1.Click Start and then click Control Panel.

2.Double click the System

3.In the window that appears, open the tab material.

4.Then click on the button Device manager.

5.Unroll the element floppy drive controller.

6.Right click on the element controller Standard floppy disk and then choose Disable.

7.You can finally close the Device Manager.

Now you disable floppy drive to free the system resources used for anything.
