. The Windows 7 calculator can be operated in four modes. The four modes of Windows 7 Calculator has four modes: Standard, Scientific, Programmer and Statistics. Let us now see the features of the new Windows 7 Calculator.

The new

has added functionality and new features. This calculator in Windows 7 can be operated in four modes as discussed in above paragraph. The new modes are the Programmer and Statistics compared to earlier versions of calculator. So you can use the new
Windows 7 calculator
for calculating anything including your recent gas mileage and statistical analysis.
To run the calculator, follow the steps given below:
choose Start-->All Programs-->Accessories-->Calculator. You'll probably see the standard, basic Calculator window. Here are the screen shots of the four modes of Calculator.

The calculator interface is split into three areas. These are
Calculation history
Current calculation
Special calculation area.
In addition, if you want conversion formulae for angle, area,length, power, energy, temperature, pressure, time,velocity, volume etc, there is also a unit conversion utility included with Windows Calculator. You can also see the templates for gas mileage, mortgage estimations.
You can see the history of calculations in every mode except the programmer mode in

.
You can find a panel on the right side of the main calculator with Date calculation, Unit conversions and work sheets. There are pre defined templates for calculating a car's fuel economy, a vehicle lease and mortgage.
