Comparison of sounds in Windows XP and Windows 7

The Windows 7 operating system is brought up with lots of features like themes and the gadgets but the sound is not much efficient when compared to the sounds of the windows XP. The sounds in the windows XP was extraordinary that it stood great in the minds of the people. No one will ever forget the start up and shut down sound in the windows XP. All the sounds that were in built in the windows XP were excellent.

There are options to change the start up and the shut down sound manually in the windows 7 but still it cannot be equal to the start up and shutdown sound of the windows XP. And moreover the alert box when it appears the sound will be excellent but in windows 7 it is not up to the mark. This sound part of the windows 7 can also be told as the drawback of the operating system. But maybe it can also be this way that the window 7 was launched recently so we are not practiced to the sounds.

And one more important fact about the windows 7 is that, there is no necessity for you to install any external drivers for the audio device that you insert or plug. But in the windows XP it is not enough if you insert an audio device, it is necessary that you should install motherboard drivers for the motherboard drivers to recognize the audio device.

It will be great if the windows 8 operating system that is going to be released soon has good sound like windows XP. This can also be told as if this feature is missing in the windows 7 and it will be great if it is brought back in the windows 8. Everyone is definitely waiting for good features in the windows 8.
