How to disable Aero in Windows 7

Windows 7 requires high processing power, especially at the graphics card to run the Aero interface. To make your PC more responsive, you can disable Aero.

Step to disable Aero in Windows 7

To do this, click Start and then click Control Panel.

Click Appearance and Personalization.

Click Customize.

In the list of basic themes and high contrast, click Windows 7 Basic.

For a light theme even more, click Windows Classic to find the Windows XP interface.

To reactivate Aero reproduce the steps above and select a theme from the Themes category Aero.
