Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) in Microsoft Windows



Most of the hardware and software engineers will be familiar with this term. The blue screen error occurs when a system suddenly crashes and hangs because of some hardware or the software change. This error is common with all type of operating systems and this error is most common with the windows operating system. When Bill Gates was demonstrating the Windows XP he encountered with this particular Blue Screen error. Then Bill gates released the Windows XP service pack 2 which was rectified from the Blue screen error. The blue screen error still occurs in some of the operating systems because the operating system would be a pirated version. For the original version of the operating system this error is recovered.

Usually this Blue screen Of Death may be because of many reasons. Some of the reasons are listed below:


• A sudden change in the Hardware component of the system.

• One particular operating system installed in one particular motherboard and it is used in different type of mother board.

• Sudden install or uninstall of a software to the operating system.

Removing the USB from the system without giving safe remove.

• A sudden error in the RAM or the Hard disk.

• The reason can also be because of the change or fluctuation in the power supply given to the system

• A sudden error in the insertion or the removal of the plug and play device.


Blue Screen of Death in Windows XP



The Windows XP was the first operating system that was recognized to have the blue screen error. The previous versions of the Windows also had the same blue screen error but it was not known well. The Bill Gates himself found out the error that occurred during his demonstration of the windows XP and found out the problem and carried the rectification process. When the Blue screen Error occurs the system automatically stops working in order to prevent the corruption of the data in the hard disk. The windows 7 operating system also faces the problem of Blue Screen of Death. Many people would have noticed this particular error when using the Windows 7 operating system. This error may be because of any issues that are related to the windows Software components or the sudden changes in the System Hardware component. It is necessary that the root cause of the problem is to be found out and rectified because the problem might create data corruption in the hard disk. Mostly this blue screen error is common among the pirated version of the Windows 7 operating system. The following is the image of the Blue Screen of Death in Windows 7.
