What is Disk Cleanup in Windows 7


Disk Cleanup in Windows 7 is most important part in computer system. Disk Cleanup removes all the unnecessary files
from the computer which improves the speed of the computer. Whenever you start using your computer it used to create some
temporary files in the computer which makes the hard disk heavy and makes it slow in processing. So, its important to remove
unnecessary files from our system. So,that the computer works faster.

It gives you option to select the unnecessary files which you want to delete from your computer.
You can select those files and delete it will the help of disk cleanup.

How to use Disk Cleanup in Windows 7


Simply follow the steps for disk cleanup in Windows 7:-

1) Click on the START OPTION

Then click on ALL PROGRAMS

Then click on ACCESSORIES

Then click on SYSTEM TOOLS

Then click on Disk Cleanup.

2) Now select the drive of the hard disk which you want to cleanup. See the images below.

3) After selecting the drive of the hard disk click on OK.
Disk Cleanup searches for all the temporary files or unnecessary files in the computer.

4) Disk Cleanup shows all the unnecessary files or temporary files of the computer.

5) Now select all the option in the window and then click on OK.
A Sub window will pop out for the confirmation. Click on DELETE FILES

6) At last wait for 2-3 minutes let the disk cleanup delete all the unnecessary or temporary files deleted.

Now all the unnecessary or temporary files have been deleted from your system.
Now see the free space of your hard disk. It will be increased.
