In this resource I will discuss how to find the owner of an IP Address.

Every internet user has a unique IP address.

WHOIS

The WHOIS database is meant for tracking the owners of public IP addresses on the Internet. For a given IP address, you can search the database for the following informations:
•Owner name and his telephone number
•Date of registration
•Information about other IP addresses in that range with the owner
•List of DNS servers associated with that IP range
There are many WHOIS lookup services are available online.

Private and Other Reserved IP Addresses

If you want to find the owner of a private IP address within an organization, you will have to contact a system administrator for their network.

hi,
nice..i here by to share my experience.i used http://www.whoisxy.com/ tool to find the owner of the ip address and contact details etc,.for free.here just the enter the domain name/ip address and get all the details about that..its simple..try it out.
