1.Avoid sites asking for Private information

Avoid such sites which require you to fill many personal details before joining. If you have already done so your name may appear in search results of web engines. To handle this situation an easy solution is to change that information.

2.Delete your search history

Keep deleting your search history in the web browser you are using.

3.Clean out your cache

Most of the browsers keep copies of websites visited by you in a temporary "cache" file. You should delete the cache too.

b>4.Using a proxy<

If you want to remain anonymous on the Web you should use a proxy.

5.Avoid registrations

Avoid doing online registrations as they may be scams. If necessary do proper research before doing so.

6.Clean up your cookies

Most of the websites have cookies that keep record of sites visited by you.You may disable cookies, but it can hamper your browsing experience.

7.Use an independent search engine

Always use an independent search engine for finding a website. Do not use sites like Comcast, Earthlink which keep record of users.

8.Disable auto complete

These days many search engines and browsers have the function of auto complete that guesses the word you are typing. You may disable it for privacy.

9.Be Careful while downloading

There are some programs that include adware , once you download such programs they will tell your surfing habits to third party that will use this leaked information to send you advertisements

10.Be careful where you are surfing

Avoid visiting adult sites as they may contain suspicious programs.
