Changing the settings of an email account in Outlook 2010

Several reasons may require you to change settings for an email account: The password assigned by your ISP changes, the mail server or security settings you want to change or customize settings, such as how your name is presented to other users. Let us see in detail how to modify the settings of an email account in MS outlook 2010.
Modifying Settings for a POP3 or IMAP
Follow these steps to access the account to edit:
1.Click on the File tab.
2.In the Information tab, click Account Settings, then again on Account Settings.
3.Select the email account concerned, and then click Edit.
Change the password of email account in MS Outlook 2010
If you want to change the password that allows access to your mail server, follow the instructions provided by your ISP or mail administrator. Once your password changed mail server, change the password stored in the Outlook account settings.
Under Logon Information, in the Password box, type either the password you received from your ISP or your email administrator or the password you set for yourself. If you do not wish to be prompted for the password to your email account each time you send or receive messages, check the box Remember password.
Change your email address in Outlook 2010
Sometimes the mail domain names can be changed. For example, could become vinnom@vin.com vinnom@vin.co.in . This is unfortunately often beyond your control, following the acquisition of an ISP by another.
1.User Information in the Email address box, type your full email address, as it was communicated to you by your mail administrator or ISP. Be sure to enter your user name followed by the @ symbol and domain name.
2.Click Settings.
3.Then the General tab, under Other user information, verify that your email address is always correct if you had already specified in the Reply Address box. If you leave the Reply Address box empty, the address specified in step 1 that will be used when your correspondents will answer your messages.
Edit the mail server in Outlook 2010
It can happen that the address of the server you connect to receive and send electronic messages exchange. For example, your ISP may tell you that the outgoing mail server (SMTP) is being amended to first.vinubuzz.com smtp.vinubuzz.com. You need to upgrade the server address in the settings of your account.
Under Server Information, in the Incoming Mail Server box, type the full name of the server provided by your ISP. It is usually mail or pop followed by the name of your domain.pop.vinubuzz.com.
Under Server Information, in the Outgoing mail server box, type the full name of the server you sent your mail administrator or your ISP. This is usually followed by the SMTP domain name of your example smtp.vinubuzz.com.
Change the way his name is presented to other users
Under User Information, in the Your Name box, enter the name as it should appear to other users.
