How to setup a wireless network in windows 7

This article explains how to setup a secured wireless network profile in windows 7.

Once you have the modem and router, then you are ready to setup a new broadband connection with wire or wireless connection.

Open control panel and open the "Network and Sharing Center" and it will bring you the Network management utility.

Click on the "Manage wireless networks" on your left panel and it will bring you to the wireless network utility, it will show you the existing wireless network if any. Now Click on Add it will pop up a window and select the "Manually create a network profile"

Enter the New Wireless network name that you want to define, Select a security type and enter the security phase and Select "Start this connection automatically". click Next after entering your information and that should setup the local profile for your wireless on your laptop.
