Internet Explorer: Use and manage tabs in IE8

To open a new blank tab:

click the New Tab button on the row of tabs

click File --> select New Tab

press CTRL + T

To open a new tab from a web page:

Press CTRL while clicking on the link

click the right mouse then click Open in New Tab

To close a tab:

click the Close button tab on the tab you want to close

If only one tab is open, close the browser window to close the tab

To open a previously closed tab in a browser session and retrieve historical data:

click the New Tab button on the row of tabs

In the new tab page, under Reopen closed tabs, locate the address of the Web page you want to open and click

To open a browser session and view all previously closed tabs that were open when you closed the browser:

click the Tools button then click the Reopen Last Browsing Session

For your home page appears when you open a new tab:

click the Tools button

then click Internet Options

click the General tab

then, under Tabs, click Settings

In the dialog Settings tab click the navigation list under When opening a new tab

open and click on First Start

then click OK twice

To add a group of tabs to My favorites:

click the Favorites button

click the Add to Favorites

then click Add Tab Group to Favorites

name the group of tabs

then click Add

To open a tab group saved to My favorites :

click the Favorites button

click the folder you want to open

click the arrow to the right of the folder name

To disable the tabs so that they no longer appear:

click the Tools button,

then click Internet Options.

click the General tab,

then in the Tabs section, click Settings.

uncheck the box next to Enable Tabbed Browsing

Click OK twice

LOSE IE8, then reopen

For an advertising window will automatically open in a new tab:

In IE8, click the Tools button

then click Internet Options

click the General tab

then in the Tabs section, click Settings

make a selection in the section If a pop is detected

Click OK twice.
