There are a huge number of sites available on the Internet some of which might not be suitable for certain people, especially children. In the following resource I will explain a simple technique to block unwanted or malicious websites in all versions of Internet Explorer
How to block websites in internet explorer
There are a huge number of sites available on the Internet some of which might not be suitable for certain people, especially children. In the following resource I will explain a simple technique to block unwanted or malicious websites in all versions of Internet Explorer.Here is how to do it
Open Internet Explorer.
1.In the Menu bar click Tools
2.Then Internet Options
3.Then click Content.
4.In the Content Advisor box, click Enable.
5.Then click approved sites.Then enter the address of the website.
6.If you want to block the complete website put * in front. For example to block Yahoo completely, type *.yahoo.com
7.Then click Never and then OK.
8.Click on the General tab and sure to select Users can see websites that have no ratings
9. Thereafter enter a password you can remember easily with a hint.
10. Click ok and the website is blocked now.
