In this resource I will tell you a simple method to block a website .This method works in all the browsers including Mozilla and Internet Explorer
In this resource I will tell you a simple method to block a website .This method works in all the browsers including Mozilla and Internet Explorer
1. Click Start
2. Then click All Programs
3 .Then click Accessories
4. Then click Command Prompt. This will open a DOS command window.
5. Then type: notepad C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts
6. Then search for the line 127.0.0.1 localhost
7. To block the website yahho.com for example, add this text under 127.0.0.1 localhost:
127.0.0.1 yahoo.com
127.0.0.1 www.yahoo.com
You can add as many sitesas you want, but do not forget to prefix it with "127.0.0.1".
6. Save the file
Yahoo will get blocked in all web browsers.

You can also use a program such as 123BlockMe. It's simple to use and you don't have to worry about editing your hosts file. Just search Google for 123BlockMe to block websites.
