Simplest way to view hidden files in Windows
There are many ways to view the hidden files and folder in Windows. But this is the
simplest way to do it in any Operating System
.
NOTE:-
Windows Operating System does not show hidden files and folders by default as some sensitive files need to be hidden. So you should take much more care while dealing with hidden files and folders.
Don't delete the system's hidden files and folders.
Here comes the best and simplest way,
Open My Computer or Windows Explorer. Then in the menu bar select the Tools menu. Then select the Folder Option...
So the path is
My Computer/Windows explorer-->Tools-->Folder Option...
Then you will find the Folder option Window.
Then select View tab. In the view tab find the "Hidden files and folders". Expand it.
You will find there are two options. The default option is "Don't show hidden files, folders, or drive" and the second option as "Show hidden file, folders, and drives".
Select the second option and click on Apply. Now we can see all your hidden files and folders.
N.B:- Please click on the "Restore Defaults" to set the default values or select the first option again when you finished working on hidden items. it is not mandatory, it is just due to security reason.
