How to Write Text on Image for Free?
There are many services available on the net which allow you to write text on your choice of images but did you know that you can
write text on image
for free and everything will be of your own choice. Yes, one might like to use Paint for this job but perhaps that will not be at all too usable. See, paint has certain problems. First of all, you cannot get rid of the background which is never wanted, and secondary, you cannot have all the things of your choice, you cannot do too much editing in that text box of Paint. Now, here is how you can
write text on image
in your MS Word 2007. Yes, Microsoft Word 2007 is available almost to everyone. Here is how you can write text on image for free –
Step 1 – Insert Image in MS Word 2007
First of all you need to insert image in MS Word 2007. To do this, you need to go to Insert > Picture > Select Picture > Insert. Now you have successfully inserted an image in MS Word 2007 –
Step 2 – Draw Text Box
Now that you have inserted the picture in MS Word 2007, you should simply draw a text box, in which you will have to write a piece of text –
Step 3 – Write Text
After you have drawn the text box, it is obvious that you need to write something. So write the text of your choice, as below –
Step 4 – Eradicate Outline and Background
You have got many options, even you can use Paint but the problem with paint is that it does not allow you to get rid of outlines and backgrounds, so you actually need to eradicate both of them. Here is how you can do -
Click on the text box. On the Title Bar, "Picture Tools" will be highlighted. Then,
1. Click on Format > Shape Outline > No Outline – This will remove the outline from the text box.
2. Click on Format > Shape Fill > No Fill – This will remove the background.
Now if you wish, you can easily change the color of the text too. That is very easy. Just use the format options. The same can be used to increase or decrease the size of the font etc. too.
Step 5 – Using Paint
Now that you have successfully written text on the image, you cannot save that thing as a picture. For that, you will need Paint. Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint. Then take a screen shot of that edit picture in MS Word 2007. Now, paste the screen shot in Paint, edit it, and save it. Now you have successfully created a text on your choice of image -
