Windows 7 is packed with several tools and utilities to help you with various common tasks. This article describes how to scan a picture using Windows 7 Fax & Scan utility.


Remember the days you had to search in Google for free tools and utilities to do a lot of common tasks like scanning a document, writing a CD etc? Windows 7 comes with a good news for all of us. Many such tools and utilities are packaged with Windows 7. We do not need to search in Google and try many such tools to find the right one for us. Remember that many of such free third party tools come with some kind of malware which require us to scan and verify the tool before using them.

Windows Fax and Scan is free utility to scan documents and send fax from Windows 7, without having to use any third party tools. All you have to do is, attach the scanner or fax machine and launch the tool. It is a very easy to use tool.

Good one this article will help new Windows 7 users for getting the scanning task done, I think if you know about Adobe photoshop, this will help to scan good quality pictures and even we can make the file size compatible to send on slow connections, If some one wants the png files without background, i mean transparent ones photoshop will help them to do so.

But for just want to scan and keep it for our later use, then the tool which comes with Windows 7 Will help a lot to do things faster and easier.
