If you have only one user account in Windows XP, then you can save some time by logging into Windows automatically when Windows starts. This article describes how to automatically log on to Windows XP.
How to automatically Login into Windows XP
If you have only one user account in Windows XP, then you can save some time by logging into Windows automatically when Windows starts.
The procedure to do this is given below:
* The Welcome screen must be available
1. Select Start > Control Panel and click User Accounts
2. Click Change the way users log on or off
3. Check to make sure that Use the Welcome screen is selected
* Guest account access must be turned off
1. Select Start > Control Panel and click User Accounts
2. Click the Guest account
3. Click Turn off the Guest account
* There must be only one user account on the computer
* The user account must not have a password
1. Select Start > Control Panel and click User Accounts
2. Click the user account
3. Click Remove the password
