Changing MAC Address in Windows XP:

Changing MAC Address of a Network Adapter is not easy.But you can instruct Windows XP to use a different MAC address defined by you.

The procedure to do this is given below

click Start,
click Control Panel
Click Network and Internet Connection
and then click Network Connection
Go to Local Area Networs Property & Click on Configure
On the new window, click on Advanced Tab.
On the Advanced tab, Select Network Address & Put the value you want.

Now use ipconfig/all to see the effect.
"Changing MAC address is almost same ffor all the OS. You may find a little difference in the process to go to the Local Area Conection Settings."
