The GFI LAnGuard is a network security product by GFI Software which is a US based company.
The product GFI LANGuard is a network and security scanner which the network and ports for detecting security issues. This product is very much useful for network administrators to maintain a secure network more effectively.
This product also gives an overall view of your network by retrieving the hard ware information of all the computers in the network. The information like processors, memory, display adapters, storage devices, mother board details, etc. can be obtained. This tool also identifies and reports any unahtorized software installation and provides alerts and some times automatically uninstall such softwares.
Free trial version of GFI LANGuard is available for testing purpose. You can purchase the registered version after satisfying with the free version. The GFILanGuard is available as full featured Freeware for 5 Nos. of IP addresses. If you want to monitor more IP addresses, then you need to purchase the registered version with the pricing as follow:
1. 10-24 IPs -- $32.00
2. 25-49 IPs -- $24.00
3. 50-99 IPs -- $14.00
4. 100-249 IPs -- $10.00
